Cotswold Friends is a local charity, helping and supporting older and vulnerable people in the North Cotswolds. We aim to combat loneliness and isolation. Our voluntary services improve health and wellbeing and support independent living.
At Cotswold Friends, we were proud to celebrate our 40th birthday during 2018. The organisation began as the Voluntary Help Centre in 1978 and was originally set up with the aim of recruiting and deploying volunteers. The charity soon began to grow and today provides four key services to the North Cotswolds Community: Community Transport, Befriending, Carer Respite and Community Activities. With over 350 volunteer roles, our services benefit over 2,000 older and vulnerable people.
