Beautiful Paper Folding Creates Cotswold Friends Christmas Card

This year, one of our Intergenerational Befrienders has designed our Christmas card. Charlotte Gravelson created a beautiful Christmas bauble using paper folding techniques and told us, ‘Throughout the last academic year I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the residents at Mill House Care Home. We had a lot of fun doing activities like nail painting, gardening and dancing with pom-poms. When I was given the opportunity to design this year’s Christmas Card I was delighted as I knew it would enable me to stay in contact with those I had volunteered with and put a smile on everyone’s face. It has been wonderful to make a card design for such a lovely group of people and I hope that everyone who receives one has a very Merry Christmas.’ The design was also used on our Christmas bags and tags. The production of the card has been kindly sponsored by Autoserve Club (www.autoserveclub.co.uk) who provide motorists with online discounts from discounted servicing, tyres, dash cams, breakdown assistance and more. All Cotswold Friends volunteer drivers are entitled to a free membership. Rachel Coombes, Marketing Manager explained, ‘It’s been an absolute pleasure supporting the vital work Cotswold Friends do in the community, in particular through what has been a hard year for everyone. We hope the Christmas Card brings joy to everyone who receives one.’ Pictured: Above - Charlotte, Bottom right (l-r) Jane Chapman, Sales Admin Manager and Rachel Coombes, Marketing Manager, Autoserve.
