With this funding we are able to support thousands of vulnerable people, reducing loneliness and isolation, improving health and wellbeing, and supporting independent living.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Mark Benevolent Fund, whose support has enabled us to purchase the vehicle. Their generosity has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our ability to deliver inclusive transport services in Cirencester and the surrounding rural areas. The new WAV will operate as part of our volunteer-led community transport service, helping to reduce isolation and remove barriers for older people and those with mobility challenges.
GCF’s vision is for Gloucestershire to be a place where people and communities are empowered to become resilient and strong. A member of the Gloucestershire Funders group, GCF supports our services through its Main Grants Programme and Cost of Living Grants Programme. Their recent recent donation has been generously given towards our Community Activity services - helping us provide regular, accessible activities that reduce loneliness and support wellbeing.
Thank you to Sytner Group Worcester for their generous donation of chocolate prizes, valued at £100, in support of our Christmas market stall. Their contribution helped make the event a success and supported our work in the community.
Gloucestershire Funders is an informal group of funders committed to working together in a joined up way to benefit Gloucestershire. These funders support our Community Activities Programme and Community Transport service.

Barnwood Trust are a charitable foundation and their vision is to create the best possible environment in Gloucestershire for disabled people and people with mental health problems to make the most of their lives. The National Benevolent Charity are a grant-making charity with a long history of providing financial support to people experiencing poverty to help them in a time of crisis. A member of the Gloucestershire Funders group, the National Benevolent Charity support our Community Activities Programme.
NHS Gloucestershire CCG are responsible for planning and commissioning (buying) local health services and support to meet the needs of local people. A member of the Gloucestershire Funders group, NHS Gloucestershire CCG supports our Community Activities Programme.
The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust is a charitable fund supporting organisations and initiatives that provide benefit to society in the UK. The Trust supports our Community Activities Programme and Community Transport service.
Gloucestershire County Council support our services through their Active Communities, Active for Life, Thriving Communities, ‘Build Back Better’ and Digital Innovation Funds.
Cotswold District Council support all our services. The District Council made a funding pledge totalling £6,000 to our 2022 crowdfunding campaign for our ‘Connecting Community’ project, with £4,000 of the funding from their Cotswold Community Fund and £2,000 from the Council’s Covid Community Resilience Fund.
We are extremely grateful to all the Town and Parish Councils who support our services. Recent funders include Moreton-in-Marsh Town Council, Bourton Parish Council, Longborough Parish Council and Mickleton Parish Council.
The National Lottery Community Fund (formerly the Big Lottery Fund) awards money raised by National Lottery players to communities across the UK, working with local groups and UK-wide charities, enabling people and communities to thrive. The Lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund awarded us a four year grant towards all our services.
The Chipping Campden Community Trust is a local charity helping and supporting the older and the more vulnerable people in the local North Cotswold community. The Trust supports our services in the Chipping Campden area, including Carer Support, Befriending and our Intergenerational Programme.
The Clothworkers’ Foundation improves the lives of people and communities – particularly those facing disadvantage and marginalisation – through grantmaking. The Foundation has supported us by providing laptops and printers for staff and volunteers.
The Co-op Local Community Fund supports local causes and not for profit groups who run projects that will benefit the local community. The Fund supports our Community Activities Programme.
The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust supports advancement of the arts, medical welfare and the environment. The Trust supports the cultural elements of our Community Activities Programme.
The Dulverton Trust is an independent grant-making charity. The Trust supports all our services, including our Intergenerational Programme, and made a funding pledge to our 2022 crowdfunding campaign for our ‘Connecting Community’ project.
The Edward Gostling Foundation funds charities registered with a UK Charity Commission that support people on a low income who are living with a disability or long-term illness. The Foundation supports our Carer Support service.
The February Foundation makes grants to a range of charities and charitable activities. The Foundation supports our Befriending service.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family founded grant-maker that gives money to support a wide range of charities across the UK. The Foundation provided an Anniversary Fund Grant enabling us to purchase a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle for our Community Transport service.
The HDH Wills Charitable Trust is an independent grant-making charity that supports charities. The Trust supports all our services.
The Henry Smith Charity provides grants to reduce social and economic disadvantage. The Charity supports our Carer Support service.
The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire supports local communities and charities through the work of the Company’s Charitable Trust. The Company supports our Community Activities Programme.
The Mid-counties Co-op Your Community Fund is available to help fund local projects that will make a real difference in the community. The Fund supports our Community Activities Programme.
Moore Friends’ charitable objective is to support healthcare in the community of Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area. Moore Friends support our services including Carer Support, Befriending, and our Community Day Club in Bourton.
North Cotswolds Rotary are committed to raising money for local, national and international causes. The Rotary supports our services and our Hardship Fund through grant funding and by supporting fundraising activities such as our Pub Quizzes.
The One Stop Community Partnership Programme is designed to support community groups or organisations operating within two miles of a One Stop store. The Programme supports our services in Chipping Campden and supported our 2022 Christmas event for our Support Services clients.
The Postcode Local Trust supports smaller charities and good causes in the west of England to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet. The Trust supports all of our services.
