Moreton Men-in-Sheds, Fundraising and Thankyous.

Things are moving along at the new Moreton Men-in-Sheds’ at the Moreton University allotment site. Thankyou so much to all of the volunteers who have given their time. We also have many other thankyous to do so here goes…… THANKYOU to Worcestershire County Council who kindly donated the portacabin to allow us to begin the project and to Moreton Town Council who have been very supportive, allowing Cotswold Friends to use the site and lease an allotment. THANKYOU to Colin Cowley for initial works on the new shed. THANKYOU to BA Hull who donated and installed the septic tank and works, which was a huge job and completed very professionally. THANKYOU to Lucy Young who is helping us with all of the electrics. THANKYOU to Dale Moss the Manager at NorthCot Brick who organised the donation of the bricks, handrails and manpower to build the entrance steps to the building. THANKYOU to Chipping Norton Plumbing Supplies who donated all of the plumbing equipment and our much needed toilet seat (!) as well as the manpower and expertise from Daniel Salvage who helped to plumb it all in. CNPS have a famous duck mascot which makes guest appearances at many of their jobs and has found its way into our newsletter and now onto our website! THANKYOU to the Black Bear Inn who donated their premises to run a fun and friendly fundraising quiz night.
