New Members and plenty of sales at the Bourton Shedders Open Day
Bourton Men-in-Sheds held their Open Day this Saturday at the fantastic site behind the British Legion in Bourton. The morning proved to be a great success and thankfully, the rain kept away.
The Shedders sold handmade planters, bird boxes and hedgehog boxes, as well as taking orders for more made to measure planters. £200 worth of items were sold in total, which will all go towards supporting and developing this community project for the future.
Three potential new members came for a chat and a tour, showing a keen interest to share their skills and join the group. It was great to see all the visitors throughout the morning and to be able to chat and develop even closer links with the community. Thanks to all the helpers on the day and to all the visitors that came along to support the Shedders.
