Bridget Salvage, our Support Services Manager, Harriet Salvage, our Carer Support Project Worker and their family, recently took on the ‘PierZip’ zipwire challenge in Bournemouth—the world’s first pier to shore zip line, allowing you to soar over the sea and down to the beach below. The launch tower stands at the end of Bournemouth Pier at a height of 60 feet over the sea below. From here you take a leap of faith and step off to experience an 820 foot zip surf over the waves! Bridget told us, “This is something we all wanted to do, but I particularly enjoyed coming down rather than the climb up the see-through spiral staircase!
