Would you like to get more involved in your local community?

We have over 340 amazing volunteers but we need more to help us carry out the work we do to prevent loneliness and isolation across the Cotswolds.

We are urgently looking for volunteers for the following roles across our different services:

COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

• DRIVERS are needed in all areas with a particular need in: Fairford, Lechlade, South Cerney, Cirencester, Stow-on the Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water
• TRANSPORT BOOKING DESK volunteers to help with our busy transport office in Moreton-in-Marsh
• MINIBUS PASSENGER ASSISTANT to support the Volunteer driver collecting clients to go to the Moreton-in-Marsh Friendship Café and then to take them home after the session. Every Weds 9.30am -10.30am and 2.00pm-3.00pm

SUPPORT SERVICES

• KINETON BEFRIENDER female volunteer to visit isolated client in her own home for a good chat over tea/coffee - living upstairs
• BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER COMMUNITY DAY CLUB to prepare a light lunch for the Bourton Day Club 2nd and 4th Weds of the month. Flexible hours approx. 11.30am-1pm. Food hygiene certificate would be advantageous but not essential.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

• BOURTON-ON-THE-WATER FRIENDSHIP CAFE - to help with our Bourton Friendship Café on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. 10am-12pm
  • LUNCH CLUBS - to buddy up with the existing Volunteer to assist with the increasing number of attendees at our Longborough and Mickleton lunch clubs (each club runs once a month)
  • NEW STOW LUNCH CLUB - to help run a new lunch club in Stow-on-the-Wold - once a month.
  • WALK & CHAT GROUP LEADERS - to support our existing volunteers in running a gentle walk & chat group in Moreton-in-Marsh on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month. 2 - 3pm.
  • CHIPPING CAMPDEN MEN IN SHEDS VOLUNTEER - to help at our Chipping Campden Men in Sheds. Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30am-12.30pm

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

• OFFICE ADMIN - based at Moreton-In-Marsh area Centre once per week - general office help and administration

EVENTS, FUNDRAISING & MARKETING

• MARKETING VOLUNTEERS -To distribute posters and leaflets around your local area every 3 months.
• EBRINGTON NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTOR - To distribute client newsletters in Ebrington every 4 months.
• CHIPPING CAMPDEN NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTORS - To distribute client newsletters in Chipping Campden every 4 months.
• BLOCKLEY NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTORS - To distribute client newsletters in Blockley every 4 months.
• MICKLETON NEWSLETTER DISTRIBUTORS - To distribute client newsletters in Mickleton every 4 months.
