Volunteer Roadshow is on the move

Kickstarting Our Volunteer Roadshow

This month, we’re excited to be launching our new Volunteer Roadshow — taking Cotswold Friends on the road as we travel across the Cotswolds in search of new volunteers to join our incredible community.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From providing transport to medical appointments and community activities, to offering companionship and practical support, our volunteers help older and vulnerable people remain connected, independent, and supported within their local communities.

Over the coming weeks, our team will be visiting towns and villages across the Cotswolds to meet local people, share more about the charity, and showcase the many flexible volunteering opportunities available.

Whether you have a few hours to spare each month or are looking for a more regular role, there are plenty of ways to get involved. From Community Transport Drivers and Befrienders to supporting our activities, events, and fundraising initiatives, volunteering with Cotswold Friends can fit around your lifestyle while making a real difference.

The Volunteer Roadshow is a fantastic opportunity to come and meet the team, ask questions, and learn more about how you can support older and vulnerable people in your area.

We’re looking forward to meeting new faces along the way and growing our volunteer network even further.

If you spot us while we’re out and about, do come over and say hello — we’d love to chat.
